Allana Ferguson bio
Allana first represented Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Following multiple knee injuries over the years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana was the first to play in a female rugby union match which was held by New South Wales and was the star of the match that was played against Queensland. Allana has added radio to her game, making regular appearances with the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Beyond sports, Allana is also a fully certified teacher. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos star and qualified teacher out of the sport arena and has represented Australia three times - in touch football, in rugby league as well the rugby sevens. Jillaroos' star Allana Ferguson is required to put an abrupt conclusion to her professional rugby professional career following the tear of her ACL a fourth time. The 25-year-old had previously torn the ligament on the same knee when she was a teenager and a 20-year-old and following a 4th tear, this meant that Ferguson's playing time was up. Ferguson is JILLAROOS's player who had to retire early because of a fourth tear to the ACL of her left. Ferguson was injured in November at a session of training. The Courier Mail confirmed that the news came this week. Ferguson has been the face of women's rugby league for the past couple of seasons.
